RoseComm helped orchestrate a satellite media tour timed with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Cynara Coomer, Chief of Breast Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital, was interviewed this morning by more than 20 news stations across the country about the BC5 Project and breast cancer treatment options, including brachytherapy. Her patient, Celia Duffy, a survivor, joined her for a portion of the interviews. Segments aired on stations from Chicago to Washington, D.C. to San Diego.

Our objective with this and other efforts on behalf of The BC5 Project is to raise awareness of underutilized options for women diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and to empower women to take an active role in their treatment decisions.
